Description |
This course will build on the knowledge of theory, primary concepts and principles of manual guidance received in previous Perception-Action (P-A) Approach course work. This intermediate level course will emphasize the assessment components, assessment methods and use of outcome measures to evaluate the efficacy of intervention. Participants will practice manual guidance techniques in laboratory sessions and during hands-on therapy sessions with infants and children with movement disorders. Patient videos, live demonstrations, group discussions and Question & Answer sessions will also be an integral part of this course.
Licensed physical and occupational therapists working with infants and children of all ages who have completed previous course work (with lab) in Perception-Action approach or TAMO therapy are invited (please see registration section of course brochure for required documentation).
