Description

The "Pediatric Nutrition" course describes the keys factors that are contributing to poor quality diets in our children. It identifies which nutrients children are most likely to fall short of their daily needs for, as well as their common sources. It then outlines steps that healthcare providers, parents and caregivers can take to improve the quality of our children's diets. This course lists the health consequences of poor nutrition in children. And it describes appropriate interventions to prevent and treat pediatric obesity. Finally, the "Pediatric Nutrition" outlines ways to help children develop a healthy relationship .
