This workshop will outline the Pyramid Model for Promoting the Social Emotional Competence of Children which provides a system for organizing activities along the mental health continuum. In this workshop participants will learn how to promote social and emotional development and prevent challenging behaviors by teaching young children social and emotional skills with fun games, puppets and art activities that integrate literacy, math and objectives for development and learning
