| Description |
Therapists will gain an understanding of the process to recommended, fit, and implement a variety of orthotics for young children. Atypical gross motor patterns and gaits of young children who could benefit from orthotics and how orthotics can help children meet his/her IFSP goals and improve the quality of his/her motor skills will be explored. As part of the discussion, orthotic modifications and maintenance will be discussed.
