A Conversation:Understanding Transitioning from Part C to Part B.

This training is for providers of Early Intervention to help them understand the transition process for families they work with that will be moving from Part C to Part B of IDEA. Transition is everyone's responsibility when working with families. From the minute a family begins in Early Intervention until the child ages out, parents want to know what's next! Under rule 500 providers are now invited to attend the transition meetings, this workshop will talk about: What is transition? How does it look from Part C to Part B and what comes next? The training will be presented by CFC #15 transition coordinator as well as area Special Ed. Directors who will talk about Part B. There will also be time for questions and answers as well as resource ideas for families after EI.
