Working Effectively As Children's Advocates

Description

An advocate is someone who speaks out for the needs and interests of themselves and/or others. Advocates for children include parents, extended family, friends, teachers, other school personnel, therapists of all kinds, etc. This webinar will discuss how to work effectively as an advocate for a child. We will discuss specific strategies to effectively advocate with the goal of a mutually agreeable solution reached amicably. These strategies are communication tools. They are to help that communication be more productive and efficient.
