How to Structure and Implement Social Skills Groups to Build Confidence and Success

Description

In this part lecture, part interactive activity, participants will learn core components of how to develop social skills with children on the autism spectrum, both individually as well as in small group settings. These social skills are necessary to help them understand emotions and prepare to interact with their family and peers. Participants will learn the basics of social skill development and then learn some techniques that can be adapted as children grow and develop.
