Supporting Families of Children with Complex Medical Needs

Description

Service coordinators are often the first professionals to work with families of children with complex medical challenges outside of the medical community. Families have often experienced stress related to their child's medical challenges and have many questions about their child's needs. Through our conversation with Dr. Ochoa the service coordinators will better understand the medical perspective and common areas of need for families with young children with medical complexities. There will be an open opportunity for service coordinators to ask questions and share examples of experiences in which they are looking for additional support.
