Tools for Tots: Sensory Strategies for Toddlers & Preschoolers

Description

Help is on the way for those who either have, or are working with tots. This seminar is designed to offer practical sensory strategies to improve your tot's ability to function in natural environments. When the question is asked, "Is it sensory or behavior?" reframe it by asking, "Are there sensory issues driving the behavior?" Tools for Tots offers a variety of 'sensory safe tools' which enrich sensory experiences for tots whose nervous systems are challenged (e.g. sensory processing disorder, autism spectrum disorder, or learning disorder). However, using these strategies will encourage optimal development in all tots, even those who are neuro-typical. Topics include Hair Care, Tubby Time, Potty Pleasers, and more! Learn how to help Touchy Tots, Busy Bees, Fumbling Tots, and Cautious Tots get along. Updates in sensory processing, treatment videos & case histories will be shared.
