Neurodevelopment of Infants and Toddlers and Its Impact on Stage and Developmental Transitions

Description

Why do children often seem to have developmental “bursts” after months of little developmental progress? What really supports a child in moving toward the next developmental skill acquisition? Are there strategies that early interventionist and parents can use to support children through these developmental stages?
These and other questions will be explored by Michael Nelson, PhD, a researcher who has spent 30 years working with infants and toddlers to better understand their growth and developmental phases.
