Assessing families experiencing poverty

Description

Economic poverty is a substantive force that challenges the core of success in many Early Intervention families. While much time is spent on working with families in poverty, the nuances of assessment in families experiencing poverty is seldom explored. This training will explore those assessment issues that impact children and families. Using lecture, multi-media, small and large group self reflection, providers in this training will be more competent in their abilities to assess Early Intervention families experiencing poverty.
