Family Centered Services in Early Intervention

This presentation was given by the parent liaisons of CFC#5. The first portion of the presentation focused on person centered language and how our words effect the people with whom we speak. The presenters focused on how to put the child first in our language not the disability.

The second portion of the presentation focused on how to effectively engage parents when working with their child in Early Intervention. The presenters offered strategies and stories from their personal experience to help Service Coordinators know effective ways to engage with parents.
