February 2015: How to bring reflective practice to your work with families? In our discussion we will address reflective practice. What does it look like for SCs in their role? What does it look like for providers? and What does it look like for parents? How can we, in our role, support reflection for families? This conversation will support SCs being better able to understand where a family might be "coming from" and help support their questions or concerns. This discussion will allow SCs to deepening their reflective skills and offers personal and professional development by increasing self-awareness in order to understand one's own reactions, thoughts, and feelings that affect the work.
