| Description |
Hayley Anderson and Megan Murphy from the National Lekotek Center will present Using Assistive Technology to Enhance Play. Topics addressed will include an introduction to both high and low tech AT, how AT can be utilized to empower young children with special needs to take a more active role in their play and how to use easily accessible materials to create AT in the home therapy session. Real examples of high and low tech AT will be provided. Participant experiences will be solicited and incorporated into the session in order to encourage active participation and reflective practice.
