The Art of Play Facilitation

Description

The role of the play facilitator is critical when conducting Transdisciplinary Play Based Assessment.
Everyone thinks they can be a great play facilitator, but it is not as easy as it first appears! Join us at this
two day workshop to learn what it takes to be effective in this crucial role. Dr. Linder will utilize video
examples of assessment opportunities to facilitate eliciting the child ’s play skills, and discuss with the
group strategies to handle the variety of situations which can occur in a play based assessment. This workshop involves the knowledge and strategies that are covered in the 2 day workshop, "Transdisciplinary Play Based Assessment". In order to
benefit from this workshop, it is highly recommended that attendees have previously attended a multi- day training on Transdisciplinary Play Based Assessment. Participants must attend all day, both days of
the workshop in order to receive a certificate of attendance.
