Community Resources: Jump Start and DCFS what service coordinators need to know.

This is an "in house" training for CFC#15 service coordinators. The purpose of this training is to provide service coordinators with information and resources to assist them when working with children and families. Dana Christian will discuss the services offered to families by the Jump Start Parental Training Program, and when and how to refer a family to this program. Susan Tromley with DCFS will present general information for service coordinators to be aware of when working with children in the foster care system. She will also discuss what it means to be a mandated reporter and criteria for when and how to make a call to the child abuse hotline.
