Description |
A very important aspect when working with Early Intervention families is to start teaching them how to advocate for their child. During this day of learning you will gain understanding of the parents perspective of what is happening with their child and the ability to help with advocacy both through their IFSP/IEP and with their audiological team. University of Chicago Medicine and Illinois School for the Deaf Outreach is teaming up to teach you necessary advocacy skills that you can pass on to your families.
