Family-Centered Practices in the Natural Environment

Description

This workshop will support providers’ understanding and perceptions of the natural environment as a process, not just a place -- utilizing families’ everyday activities, routines, interactions, materials, etc., which promotes parent-child relationships and fosters child development. Furthermore, since parent-child relationships should be at the center of early intervention sessions, participants will learn about family-centered practices, what they look like and how to implement practices aligned with family-centeredness.
