Assessing the Needs of the Child with Micro-Opthalmia and the Child Chromosomal Abnormalities

Description

This is an "in house" training for CFC#15 service coordinators during which Dr. Larry Desch will present diagnostic and assessment information. Case examples of a child with Micro-Opthalmia and a child with Extra Chromosome 4 and deletion of chromosome 8 will be discussed. Diagnostic criteria, differential diagnosis, associated risks, prognosis and assessment of the needs of the family related to the diagnosis will be presented. The focus of the training is on assessment and diagnostic criteria for each case presented.
