PLAY Project Certification Training: 2 Days in-person and remainder online (required)

Description

This comprehensive certification program is for professionals interested in offering the PLAY Project, an evidenced-based developmental and behavioral intervention for young children with autism and their families. Certified PLAY Project Consultants become experts in this parent-implemented intensive early intervention model. Following the 7 Circles of
The PLAY Project, Consultants coach parents to playfully engage their child, PLAY Project methods and techniques, and
document the child’s progress. Parents then learn to become more sensitive, responsive, and effective in their interactions with their child. As a result, the child becomes more interested in interacting with their caregivers and their peers.

Project Certification Program includes: The Certified PLAY Project Consultant credential is earned through an intensive training and supervision program with Richard Solomon, MD, Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrician & PLAY Project team. The training includes 2 days of in-person workshop and 6 online sessions plus supervision and mentoring.
As a PLAY Project Consultant in-training, you continue building your expertise in PLAY Project with up to two years of one-on-one mentoring and coaching from our team of Supervisors.
A lifetime of quarterly online education helps grow your services and build your mastery of PLAY Project. There are additional continuing education opportunities both in-person and on-line plus unlimited informal mentoring support from a multidisciplinary group of PLAY Project experts.
