Authentic Assessment in Early Intervention: Joining in Partnership with Families & Caregivers

Description What makes the assessment process unique from evaluation in early intervention for families and their teams?

Through the use of authentic assessment strategies, this session explores the many ways we can learn about the child, family and other caregivers. This interactive workshop takes a peek into an Illinois family's Early Intervention session, allowing participants hands-on opportunity to practice gathering, sharing, and using assessment information in ways that are meaningful for the family and team.
