Discrete Trial & Mini Book of Visual Systems

Description

Discrete Trial: Discrete Trial helps teach young children to sit, work, and learn. DT may be used to teach skills such as: language, communication, pre-academics such as shapes, colors, numbers and letters. Additionally play, social and functional life skills can be taught using DT. DT is highly structured and builds upon a child's strengths. This training will teach you how to do discrete trial which will help any therapist or parent work with young children with autism and developmental disabilities. Participants will practice using Discrete Trial to teach skills during the training.

Mini Book: This training will give each participant a copy of our Mini Book Master to keep. We will teach you how and why to use the different type of picture schedules, choice systems, number tab boards and behavior cards. These systems help therapists and parents structure their sessions to help children communicate, regulate and feel more in control so they can learn.
