Sensory Based Feeding Disorders in the birth to three Population

Description

This training is for therapists specializing in children presenting with pediatric feeding disorders in the birth to three population. This training will focus on the foundations of eating including a child's sensory and motor systems. Therapists will learn how to recognize and address the sensory difficulties, motor impairments, and behaviors that impact a successful mealtime. Participants will learn effective strategies to create an optimal feeding environment that respects a child's sensory system and promotes the appropriate motor patterns for successful meal times.
