Birth to 12-Months: Constructing Interaction

Description

As DTH’s, do you ever wonder what to do with babies in the birth to 12-month range? This workshop is designed to facilitate ideas for coaching families with little babies through developmental stages while incorporating auditory and language strategies. The presenters will provide examples from videos they have created of interactions with their infants at home. These videos and ideas using songs, rhymes, and vocal play will spark strategies for generalization of working the DHH babies in the birth to 12-month range. Although videos are of typically developing infants, the implications of use with DHH infants will be presented.
