| Description |
This module was developed to give teachers, educational interpreters and parents the opportunity to develop/improve signing skills as related to telling or reading stories. Discussion will include the challenges faced when reading stories to children who are deaf or hard of hearing and the factors to take into consideration when signing a story. The participants will observe several stories signed by deaf people and they will have the opportunity to practice signing different children’s stories.
