Mental Health and Hearing Loss: Collaborative Work to Ensure Adequate Service Delivery

In this presentation, an overview will be provided on Illinois’ public mental health system and the role of the Statewide Coordinator for people with hearing loss. Specifically, how services are provided in the community, what types of services are included, and how collaboration with the school system and other service providers is crucial for positive outcomes. Additionally, participants will learn when and how to contact the Statewide Coordinator for additional support, information, and advocacy.
