Guide By Your Side is a program provided by Illinois Hands & Voices to families in Illinois with children who have hearing loss. Come learn about the history of Guide By Your Side and what our support services look like for the EI families you are working with. Guide By Your Side provides unbiased support and resources to families, this support helps families navigate the new world of hearing loss their child has entered. This session will provide you solid examples of the types of supports we provide. This is one of the only organizations who has training parents, training parents - all of which have children with hearing loss. This program is free to families in Illinois, you can easily refer families to the program. Doing so will provide you with more at east parents, because they no long feel alone.
