For over 20 years, professionals working with infants and toddlers have relied on the proven Bayley Scales to identify infants and children ages 1 month - 42 months with developmental delays and provide information in the areas of Adaptive Behavior, Cognitive, Language, Motor, and Social-Emotional functioning.
The purpose of this workshop is to familiarize participants with the administration, scoring, and interpretation of the Bayley Scales of Infant and Toddler Development – Third Edition (Bayley-III). The presenter will use lecture, videotaped demonstrations, and interactive learning practices to help participants:
1. describe administration criteria for items on the Cognitive, Language, and Motor scales of the Bayley-III;
2. describe administration of the Bayley-III Questionnaires;
3. generate raw scores and standard scores;
4. discuss basic interpretation of the results.
