Watchful and Safe: A Presentation on Home Visits

“In this workshop in-home providers will learn valuable and practical safety tips when visiting the homes of families”. There will be discussion about the latest trends in drug use, specifically Meth and the signs of potential drug activity or use in a home and what to do if you suspect it.

This half day workshop will be presented by Special Agent Troy Davis from the Illinois State Police, Zone 5 Investigations. Special Agent Davis has had experience as a Deputy Sherriff in Vermillion County and the Illinois State Police. He is a board certified drug identification instructor. Special Agent Davis has presented on this topic to DCFS, Child Protective Investigators, and School District preschool programs among various other agencies and organizations. Special Agent Davis will be joined by two Officers who specialize in home visiting safety.
