Keynote address: Innovations and Early Interventions: The PLAY Project Model

Description

In this keynote address Dr. Rick Solomon will present an overview of the PLAY Project’s 7 Circles of PLAY autism intervention model through the use of video case studies. PLAY is an evidence-based early intensive intervention program that uses a home visiting, parented-implemented approach to help young children with autism improve in their interaction, functional development, and autism symptomatology through fun and playful methods and techniques. Dr. Solomon will briefly review the research evidence for PLAY and describe the statewide implementation of PLAY in Ohio’s early intervention system.
