This course provides information on how to navigate the referral process for an autism diagnosis for clients on their caseload, and addresses uncertainties that early intervention providers often face about whether, when, and how to refer a client. Early indicators of autism spectrum disorders, evidence-based screening measures, and how to discuss concerns with parents will be examined.
