Introduction to Building Blocks for Sensory Integration

Description

An informative one-day course that shares the developmental and neurophysiological links between sensory integration and the basic primary movement patterns (primitive and postural reflexes) that provide the foundation (or building blocks) for sensory modulation and integration. Practical emphasis on assessment and implementation of intervention strategies designed to support movement challenges that arise from lack of effective sensory motor integration will be presented.
