Deaf Culture

Description

This training is presented by a Deaf adult and provides information about different aspects of Deaf culture and Deaf history. The presenter describes her experiences being deaf and shares practical information on how to communicate with individuals who are Deaf or hard of hearing. Target audience: Early Intervention providers, students who are deaf or hard of hearing, parents, educational interpreters, general education faculty and staff, college students and those needing a refresher or are new to the field of hearing loss


*Entrance to the Elizabeth Madden Auditorium is located just South of the Library doors at the back of the building/parking lot area.
