Case Consultation - June 2016

Description

This discussion focused on working with families who have children who have multiple medical or developmental needs. As their service coordinator, working with families with children with higher needs can require additional guidance and support to families. In this group time together we examined how that support looks and how to understand the child's and family’s needs? Sometimes families are unsure about what EI services look like and can expect more or less than is available. We explored if families responses that are hard to hold may be worry or grief about their child and their child's needs.
