This case consultation group focused on relationship-building with families. How do we do it? What fosters healthy relationships? What can get in the way?
We discussed what can get us "stirred" up and interfere with our being able to be present to the family and their needs. This conversation also shifted into relationship-building with providers, which requires some of the same skills, but can feel different. Overall there was an appreciation for how unique each family and child are and how each family/team situation can be so different too.
