Key principles of the D.I.R./Floortime model, a multidisciplinary approach, which emphasizes parent participation in the treatment process will be discussed and demonstrated using lecture and video examples. Participants will learns how to meaningfully involve parents in the treatment process using joyful play interactions while addressing the young child’s functional challenges. This workshop is geared toward occupational therapists, speech and language pathologists, and developmental therapists who work with infants and young children.
