Clinicians will discuss an article by McLeod, Harrison, Whiteford, and Walker that was published in the Early Childhood Research Quarterly in 2015. The article, titled “Multilingualism and speech-language competence in early childhood: Impact on academic and social-emotional outcomes at school” examines the long-term effects of multilingualism for children with a speech and language concern.
