Early Intervention has well established requirements for the documentation of Early Intervention services. The Provider Handbook that will go into effect 2-2017 has introduced several refinements to the previously established requirements.

We will review the established documentation requirements and refinements introduced in the new Provider Handbook.
Then discuss role of documentation in Early Intervention and the its implications for the families of children receiving services in Early Intervention.
