| Description |
Introduction to Cued Speech Part 1 Workshop:
Participants will learn the Cued Speech system of 8 handshapes and 4 vowel placements and how to combine the handshapes with the placements to convey all of the sounds of spoken language, syllable by syllable. They will learn the basic rules of Cued Speech and should be able to Cue words and simple sentences by the end of the day. They will learn effective practice techniques and will be given practice materials to take home.
