Healthy Minds, Healthy Lives: Promoting and Protecting the Mental Health of Children with Disabilities or Other Special Needs

Description

Mental Health is essential for successful life outcomes. The World Health Organization defines mental health in this way: "Mental health is not just the absence of mental disorder. It is defined as a state of well-being in which every individual realizes his or her own potential, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is ale to make a contribution to her or his community." Mental health is our goal for every child with disabilities!
