Concerns about how to know if a situation is possible abuse or neglect and what to do when encountering these situations have increased in Early Intervention. This two hour workshop is designed to address the needs of service coordinators and provides in Early Intervention. Topics include Who is DCFS?, mandated reported within early intervention principles, criteria to report, navigating and problem solving with teams when there is possible abuse or neglect, making a report, and what happens when the call is made.
