Description |
Providing in-home services can feel overwhelming, particularly when situations occur with families involving potentially dangerous environments or interactions for the young children in the home.
John Reeves, Resource Recruitment Specialist with the Illinois Department of Child & Family Services and over 10 years of experience as a child protection investigator, will present the most current information on the mandated reporter role, procedure in making a report of suspected abuse or neglect and assessment of situations to determine the best course of action. This training will include the opportunity to ask questions, aiding in the collaboration of services of early interventionists and DCFS in their work with families. Consideration of steps each of us can make to help support children and families in our communities will also be encouraged and discussed.
