Description |
Often times people underestimate the effects of substance abuse in a home on the youngest family members. "They won't remember." They are too young to understand." Spend the afternoon understanding through research, as well as children's stories how substance abuse affects their lives and development. And, that they do remember and understand something is happening around them. Discussion will also include how drug use/activity can interfere with children and their family's ability to fully embrace services being offered.
