Clinicians will discuss a research article by Tamis-LeMonda et al. that was published in Developmental Science in 2017. The article, titled “Power in methods: language to infants in structured and naturalistic contexts” summarizes a study investigating the difference in mother’s use of infant-directed language in a structured play task compared to a naturalistic routine.
