| Description |
This workshop is designed for teachers, practitioners, and administrators who desire to better understand root causes of inequities in education and health and to identify ways to personally contribute towards the increasing of equity with the individuals and families with whom we work. Participants will become more familiar with core terminology related to understanding inequities and disparities and will be given an opportunity to explore specific examples of opportunities to increase and advance causes of equity. This session will include opportunities to discuss together common barriers to advancing equity.
