The first in a series, this workshop will highlight one family’s journey to help Service Coordinators understand the Illinois Early Intervention System from a parent’s perspective. Harper’s Story includes: emotional impact when your child has a “visible” condition, learning to navigate the medical world then needing to learn the different world of early intervention, impact of health issues on the whole family, and juggling medical and developmental issues and services.
