Integrating Vision, Movement and Play in the Treatment of the Neurologically Involved Baby: Learn Why You Shouldn’t Ignore the Visual System in the Critical Early Years

Description

Vision supports  regulation, movement, anticipatory action, balance, play,  and learning.  Babies born at risk for,  or with neurological problems, often have visual challenges that complicate the developmental challenges.  Learning strategies to simultaneously address motor and vision and play in your treatment will result in more effective outcomes, enhance neuroplasticity and functional improvement in the baby’s sensory motor development. Ideas for teaching parents strategies that can be embedded into their family routines will be included.
