Clinicians will discuss a research article by McGillion, Pine, Herbert, and Matthews published in the Journal of Child Psychology and Psychiatry in April 2017. The article, “A randomized controlled trial to test the effect of promoting caregiver contingent talk on language development in infants from diverse socioeconomic status backgrounds,” explores how to increase caregiver contingent talk.
