Healthy Spaces for Healing

Description

Healthy Spaces for Healing is a 2 hour training course that will help you learn about the causes and effects of emotional trauma on the health and well-being of individuals and the communities we live/work in. A discussion of the trauma-informed care approach and characteristics of a trauma- informed environment will follow.

Trauma Informed Care also emphasizes physical, psychological and emotional safety for both consumers and providers, and helps survivors rebuild a sense of control and empowerment.”
