This course presented on a research article by Howells et al. published in January 2018 in Archives of Disease in Childhood. The article, “Assessment of doctors’ consultation skills in the paediatric setting: The Pediatric Consultation Assessment Tool,” presents a new measure that can be used to assess the “soft skills” involved in clinicians’ interactions with children and caregivers.
